This study examines the implementation of the keputrian program to improve female students’ understanding of women’s fiqh at Madrasah Diniyah Nahdlatul Ulama Sumberejo II, Surabaya. This study employed a qualitative approach with field research and a descriptive design. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews with supervising teachers and female students. The findings indicate that the program is conducted four times a month and covers thaharah, menstruation (haid), postpartum bleeding (nifas), childbirth (wiladah), irregular bleeding (istihadhah), and Muslim women’s morality. Learning activities employ lectures, question-and-answer sessions, discussions, and audiovisual media. The program provides a focused and comfortable learning environment for discussing women’s fiqh. However, students still experience difficulties distinguishing haid from istihadhah, while limited concentration, absenteeism, and lecture-dominated instruction remain challenges. Institutional support, learning facilities, relevant resources, and teacher involvement support implementation. The study concludes that the keputrian program strengthens religious literacy in women’s fiqh but requires more interactive, contextual, and student-centered learning strategies.
