Journal of Indigenous Wisdom and Community Development seeks to bridge traditional knowledge systems with modern development approaches to solve contemporary social, economic, and environmental challenges.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  • Indigenous & Local Knowledge Systems: Documentation, preservation, and integration of traditional ecological knowledge, local philosophies, and customary governance.

  • Community Empowerment & Development: Participatory development models, social entrepreneurship, cooperative movements, and local economic resilience.

  • Sustainable Resource Management: Indigenous approaches to biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, climate change adaptation, and land stewardship.

  • Cultural Heritage & Social Justice: Legal rights, cultural preservation, indigenous education, and social equity in marginalized communities.

  • Ethics & Methodology: Decolonizing research methodologies and ethical frameworks for engaging with indigenous populations.
